BGWoody's "Life on the Mountain": I am a "city girl" who, in 2003, found myself back in my childhood home atop a mountain in rural Arkansas. Most days I feel like fate brought me back to this place...other days, I feel like a fish out of water. I am a liberal Democrat, married to a Yankees' baseball scout, and on occassion I have been known to rescue an abused or abandoned dog. I feel strongly about equal rights and opportunities for EVERYONE and I am frightened by the far right wing of the Republican party....a radical of any faith is still a radical. I love to travel and have a special place in my heart for Western Europe. I read everything I can get my hands on and sometimes worry I am addicted to the news.
